There is so much to be grateful for every single moment of the day. Even in the most straining and difficult times of life, we can still find things to be thankful for!

I know it is not always easy, but it can be done…
it is a mindset, a desire to be positive and open to perceive the beauty of existence in every single moment.

So for me, (although it could be Thanksgiving any day of the year) I will celebrate Life itself today with a beautiful dinner, some good local wine and with lovely people!

I am the best version of myself when I spend time in my studio. It feels like stepping away from the world, entering my own magical bubble.

At the DDW, surrounded by so many fellow artists, I could see the same desire in them too; to step into the exciting world of creation, giving form to our innermost feelings and desires…

I guess we are a unique breed, us artists;))

Yesterday we were driving and selected music for our son Luke’s memorial day. Today he passed away seven years ago. ⁠

I realized that in this picture you see not three but four brothers. ⁠
The love they radiate for Luke is beyond boundaries. Luke is our little skywalker. For our youngest son Lieven it is a brother he has never met in person. He feels sad about this, but he never questions that he has three brothers. ⁠
⁠
I feel deeply blessed that Arnout, and I and the boys can feel that golden warm love expanding through many dimensions and feel connected with Luke. He will always be part of our group, our tribe, our hearts.⁠

I feel so filled with joy and new inspiration; I have met fabulous, cool and inspirational people. On top of it I feel incredibly grateful for all the compliments and positive feedback I received about my work.

The journey took us six weeks in total and from the first moment I set foot ashore, Barcelona has been a never ending inspiration to me.
