Each wall jewel is built by hand from layers of clay, shaped through rhythm and repetition.
Inspired by mythology and symbols of rebirth, Tonies works with clay as an earthy, patient, and transformative material.
Echoing strands of pearls and the shimmer of diamonds, her wall jewels recall treasures and adornments, forms of richness rooted not in display, but in depth, connection, and the quiet abundance of craft.
DESIGN PROCESS
Design
Each project begins with handcrafted sketches that are artworks in themselves. These are translated into technical drawings and fully coordinated with architects and interior designers, resulting in a truly unique outcome.
Production
In the studio, designs are handcrafted in ceramic. Unique glazes, sustainable solar-powered production, and craftsmanship ensure solid, eco-friendly art pieces. No mass production, but exclusive, tailor-made creations.
Installation
The murals are delivered as carefully crafted modules. If desired, the studio oversees the entire installation, ensuring each project seamlessly aligns with the design and transforms spaces into monumental works of art.
