Re-orientation, re-organizing, re- defining. The beginning of this summer Arnout and I decided to separate. It has been a complete reset of my view on life, love and my family. I still can not put things in the right words or perspective. And I feel sometimes overwhelmed by sadness for my kids.
On the other hand when big life events are popping up on my road some part of me starts to activate. I call it my Peter Pan side. This part thinks that everything new is exciting and food for making art. With a mix of gratitude for all the beautiful things Arnout and I still share and for what we have build toghetr, i feel we can make this work in a good way for our kids, our beautiful Soulfarm and for the new road that we both will go.

Seven years ago, I traveled to Hongkong to visit my sister who was living there. She gave me this temple decoration. Such a playfulness, sparkly, twirling and detailed. I could not have it designed any brighter. Somethings in life are simply perfect!⁠
And then last week someone told me that everything is already perfect, only we defining it in good or bad and that this act separates us from love. Not there yet to internalising that mindset into my life, but love to give it a try! So for today folks, let love rule!

This summer my emotions has taken me from the deep dark side of the universe up to the light and back into my centre again. For a few months I couldn't work or be close to my art I was blocked. Now I am back again, back at my base. From here I can hold myself, my children, my love for life, my fire. A couple of weeks ago a friend of my stayed with me. We had met during covid in a online group of wonderful woman. This circle of sisters helped me through the lockdown in Spain.⁠
We had never met in person, this was our first meeting real time after three years of zooming and emailing. And I felt instant in love with her. The funny thing was that we never spoke about our age. It had never been a thing before it wasn't now. For me it was more the opposite, it enriched our connection because we where sharing our woman experiences in different life stages. It was the excitement of meeting a new soul and having this strong creative connection. we could have been 18, 36 or 70 didn.t matter. I love life for this! The conversations we had where nourishment for the soul. And we where celebrating our mutual artistry. ⁠
