Over time humans have created many rituals with a wide array of purposes. As a ritual designer and ceramicist I am particularly fascinated by Rites of Passage. These rites aim to initiate the life-adventurer in the rules and emotions of the newly acquired status and to affirm that on return to 'normal life' the initiated adventurer is as good as reborn.⁠

One of the main functions of myths and rituals is to provide symbols that help to develop the human mind; to create anchors in the mind that counter-balance the desire to drop back to the old self and slow down personal growth.⁠

My wall jewels are landmark symbols that remind you of a fulfilled personal quest. ⁠
